Volunteer Guidelines
Kingdom Bound Ministries welcomes all believers in Jesus Christ to have an opportunity to “serve” God. Volunteers compliment the Kingdom Bound staff by engaging the church to serve and provide a vital link between Kingdom Bound Ministries and its ministry community.

It is easier to cancel your application than to take applications after the deadline date.
Kingdom Bound Reserves the right not to accept applications after July 12, 2013
and to make applications ineligible if needed items are not complete by July 19, 2013

1. APPLICATION PROCESS - All regular festival volunteers please follow and complete the volunteer application process. Incomplete applications may be ineligible.
A. Email Confirmation - Once you have completed your application and orientation, you will receive a confirmation email.
B. Volunteer forms - The volunteer forms you may need will be attached to the confirmation email.
C. If you do not receive your Email Confirmation or Forms, please contact the Kingdom Bound Office.
2. VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FEE - There is a $10.00 volunteer application fee to be paid by each regular festival volunteer. When you complete your volunteer registration, you will be directed to iTickets, a secure website, to complete your volunteer fee process.
3. PAY-ONCE PARKING - Pay-Once Parking is available for $10.00 to all commuter volunteers staying off grounds no matter how many days you are volunteering. When you complete your volunteer registration, you will be directed to iTickets, a secure website, to complete your Pay-Once Parking process.
4. VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION GUIDELINES
A. First Time Volunteers - All first Time Volunteers are to complete the Orientation and Volunteer Orientation Review.

B. Returning Volunteers - Returning Volunteers need to review the "Orientation Materials" and "Click Submit" to verify that
you have reviewed them for your application to be accepted. (Click "Returning Volunteers" Below)
5. AGE GUIDELINES**
A. Security* - 18 years and older (NYS Security Certification or law enforcement preferred).
B. Transportation – 21 years or older. Must be 25 years or older to drive vans.
C. All other positions – 16 years or older
D. Volunteers under the age of 18 years old need to submit a Parent Consent Form.
The Form will be attached to your confirmation email upon submitting your volunteer application.
** If under the age of 18 years old, a parent consent form needs to be signed and submitted. Kingdom Bound Ministries does not assume responsibility for the care and welfare of the underage applicant.
6. REFERENCE FORM
A. All New Volunteers need to submit a reference.
B. Please forward the form to the person who will complete it and return it to Kingdom Bound Ministries.
C. Kingdom Bound Ministries reserved the right to have any volunteer submit reference forms anytime at its discretion.
The Form will be attached to your confirmation email upon submitting your volunteer application.
7. BACKGROUND CHECK - A general background check shall be conducted on each volunteer. If you have any questions, please call 716-633-1117 Ext.126. Kingdom Bound Ministries reserves the right to conduct additional background checks on individual volunteers or volunteer groups, at its discretion
8. VOLUNTEER SHIFT - Volunteer Shift - Volunteers are scheduled to volunteer an average “volunteer shift” of 5 hours per day. Volunteers staying at Darien Lake need to work all 4 days of the event or may choose the option to pay for admission for days they do not volunteer.
9. CAPABILITY - Need to be able to perform the position(s) selected.
10. KINGDOM BOUND RIGHTS
A. Kingdom Bound Ministries reserves the right to accept or not accept a Volunteer Application with or without cause at the discretion of Kingdom Bound Ministries.
B. Kingdom Bound Ministries reserves the right to have any volunteer submit a reference form at anytime at its discretion.
C. Kingdom Bound Ministries reserves the right to reassign volunteer positions at anytime in order to accommodate festival needs.
